Marsanne Roussanne

Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne is a blend of white Rhône varieties drawn from the winery's estate vineyard. The wine is typically 60% Marsanne and 40% Roussanne, both picked and sorted by hand.

The varieties are crushed, destemmed and basket pressed separately. After separate fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is transferred to seasoned French oak to mature for 10 months in the underground cellar.

During this time, it sees no malolactic fermentation and only infrequent lees stirring before being bottled without fining.

Pale gold, Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne is all about control, poise and elegance. It has a delicately pithy texture with flavours of stone fruit and creamy honey. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
